Beatrice Bea Christine Tapp, age 90, of Erwin, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Erwin and a daughter of the late Danah and Martha Peterson Linville. She was a member of Rock Creek Church of God. Bea worked for Clarences Drive-In as a short order Cook for several years. In addition to her parents, Bea is preceded in death by her husband: Hubert Tapp Sr., in 1969, daughter: Susie Masters in May, 2014, brother: Norman Linville, and by sisters: Pat Edney and Virginia Tipton.

The family request the honor of your presence as we honor and remember the life of Beatrice Tapp in a funeral service to be at 8:00 PM, Sunday, October 12, 2014, in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Bishop John Edwards and Mark Simmons will officiate.
A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 6:00 PM on Sunday and continue until service time. A graveside service will be at 2:30 PM, Monday, October 13, 2014, at Peterson Cemetery, Unicoi TN. Those attending will meet at Valley Funeral Home at 2:00 PM on Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.
