Barbara Ann Chapman Keesecker, age 64, of Erwin, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, in Salt Lake City, UT. Mrs. Keesecker was a native of Jacksonville, FL and a daughter of the late Edward Chapman and June Liddell Chapman Ball. She served in the United States Navy from 1976 until 1991. She loved crafts, camping, horseback riding, cooking, and spending time with her family and was an Assistant Scout Master for troop # 240. She was active in the Jonesborough and Kingsport Senior Centers and she was a member of the Appalachian Paddling Enthusiasts. Her passion was her massage therapy, which she had practiced for the past 20 years. She was also involved with Massage Essential Oils. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Ball, in 1998.

Husband of 11 years, Michael Keesecker, of Erwin;
Son, Joseph Baker, of South Lake Tahoe, CA;
Step-son, Collin Keesecker, of Erwin;
Sister, Dorothy Chapman McKee, of Elizabethton;
Brother, Mike Chapman and wife Anita, of Fort Worth, TX;
Sister, Candice Ball, of New York City, NY;
Six nieces and one nephew.

The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Barbara Ann Chapman Keesecker in a memorial service to be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 2, 2016 in the mausoleum chapel at Evergreen Cemetery, with military honors. Dillon Roberts will officiate.
