Arthur “Lee” Brummett

Arthur “Lee” Brummett, age 74, of Unicoi, Passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. He was born in Unicoi, TN and was a son of David J. and Pansy Conley Brummett. Lee was self employed as a farmer and enjoyed racing. He was of the Baptist Faith and attended University Parkway Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: D. C. Brummett and Fred Brummett.

The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Arthur ”Lee” Brummett in a funeral service to be at 7:00 PM, Friday, November 14, 2014, in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Reverend Garry Edwards, Reverend Mike Oaks and Reverend Scott Thompson will officiate. Vocal selections will be provided by Kathy Thompson. A visitation period to offer support and share memories with the family will begin at 5:00 PM and continue until service time on Friday at Valley Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 15, 2014. at Roselawn Memory Gardens. We will be meeting at 10:30 AM at Valley Funeral Home to go in procession to the cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Gordon Brummett, David Byrd, David Elliott, Johnny Saylor, Steve Scott, David Scott, Robert McNitt, Rick Williams and Ed Birchfield. Honorary pallbearers will be J. B. Street and Hardy Miller
