Arnold W. “Bill” Berry

Arnold W. “Bill” Berry, age 64, passed away on Sunday, August3, 2014. He was a native of Washington County Tennessee and a son of the late Arnold and Frances Elliott Berry. Bill served in the United States Air Force serving through two tour duties in Vietnam. He had been employed for the past thirty five years as a control tech at Johnson Controls. Bill was a member of Evergreen Freewill Baptist, Eastman Hiking Club and Appalachian Trail Association.

The family requests the honor of your presence as we honor and remember the life of Arnold W “Bill” Berry in a funeral service at 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 7, 2014 in the chapel of Valley Funeral Home with David Taylor officiating. Musical selections will be provided by Tyler Engle. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 6:00 PM and continue until service time on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Valley Funeral Home. A committal service will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM, at Evergreen Cemetery. Military Honors will be offered by the Honor Guard of Shaw Air Force Base. Serving as pallbearers will be Bill’s grandsons. Those attending the committal service will meet at Valley Funeral Home by 9:30 on Friday to go in procession to the cemetery.
