Alfred Martin Lundy, 85, of Hampton Road, Clemmons, N.C., died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011.
Mr. Lundy was born in Erwin April 28, 1925, to Terry and Virginia Hanen Lundy.
He served in the Army Air Force during World War II and later attended the University of Tennessee. He dedicated 34 years working for Piedmont Airlines.
A member of Clemmons First Baptist Church, as long as his health permitted, Mr. Lundy also enjoyed memberships in the Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and Rotary clubs of Clemmons. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Terry Jr. and John Lundy, and one daughter, Robin Lea.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Cline Lundy of High Point, N.C.; daughter, Marion Hutchens of Virginia; three step-daughters, Valarie Scott of Virginia, Sharon Caviness (John) of Whispering Pines, N.C., and Michele Bean of Greensboro, N.C.; two sons, William Lundy (Carole) of Pennsylvania and Mark Lundy (Gina) of Lewisville, N.C.; two step-sons, Stephen Scott of Indonesia and Steve Bean (Kym) of Greensboro, N.C.;  six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Clemmons First Baptist Church Friday, March 18, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Robert Phillips presiding.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice, or to Clemmons First Baptist Church in the name of Alfred Lundy.
