Adrian Garrett (A.G.) Keesecker, age 82, 141 Poplar Trail, Erwin, passed away unexpectedly 7:56 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2013, at his home. He w as a native of Erwin, a son of the late P.M. and Pauline Brummitt Keesecker. Mr. Keesecker was a retired network supervisor for United Telephone Company and was a proud veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the United States Army, arriving in Korea in June 1950. He was of the Baptist faith.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Sam Keesecker and his wife, Penny and one sister, Nancy Bogart and his first wife, Phyllis Keesecker
Mr. Keesecker is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 20 years, Carol White Keesecker; three sons: Gary Keesecker, Alan Keesecker and wife, Debbie, and Jason Keesecker, all of Johnson City; three granddaughters: Amber Keesecker, Charlotte, North Carolina, Andrea Keesecker, Knoxville and Allison Keesecker, Johnson City; six brothers: Karl Keesecker and wife, Teresa, Erwin, Steven Keesecker, Erwin, Michael Keesecker, Kingsport, Conrad Keesecker and wife, Margaret Lee, Newport News, Virginia, John Keesecker and wife, Ann, Erwin, Jerry Keesecker and wife, Anita, Ohio; two sisters: Irene Gray and husband, Jerome, Florida, Katrinka Quillen and husband, Prezzle, Kingsport; one brother-in-law, Howard Bogart, Erwin.
Several nieces, nephews, and special friends Paul and Missy Farnor also survive.
Committal service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2013, in Mountain Home National Cemetery. The Tennessee Honor Guard, consisting of Boone Dam VFW Post #4933 and the Tennessee Army National Guard will provide military honors.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45 p.m.
