Town purchases property for project
The Town of Unicois Mountain Harvest Kitchen Project took a giant step forward on Feb. 28 as town officials closed on the building that will house the kitchen. The Mountain Harvest Kitchen, which had
originally been slated to be built in a different location, will now sit directly adjacent to the Town of Unicoi Tourist Information Center. Its in a much better location and we have a lot of room to expand,
said Town of Unicoi Mayor Johnny Lynch about the new building. Its got better visibility and it is much more accessible since it will be closer to the Interstate. It also gives us a lot more room for kitchen-related activities.
