Residents warned of scam involving newspaper subscriptions

We have received reports from several area residents of a scam involving newspaper sales.
Anyone receiving a call purporting to sell Erwin Record subscriptions via an allegedly charitable organization identified as “Life Giving Memories” should collect information, including a phone number, and report the call to local law enforcement.
The Erwin Record is not affiliated with Life Giving Memories.
