Program will meet needs of hundreds of students

Once again, hundreds of
Unicoi County students will
receive needed school supplies,
clothing and food,
thanks to the fourth Community
Day of Action.
According to Sherry
Whitson, the school health
coordinator for the Unicoi
County School System, the
event is scheduled for Sunday,
Sept. 8, from 2-4 p.m.,
at the Unicoi Walmart. Second
Harvest Food Bank and
United Way team up with
the school system to offer
these services to its students.
