Pal’s Sudden Service to add new restaurant in Erwin!

(Kingsport, Tenn.) – After years of fans requesting a Pal’s Sudden Service to be located in Erwin, Tennessee, their wish has been granted. The newest location of Pal’s Sudden Service will be located at the corner of Jonesborough Road and North Industry Drive in Erwin. Groundbreaking on the property is set for August 1st.

The 26th restaurant of the storied regional chain is part of Pal’s continued plan for expansion in the state. “We are very excited to be able to announce the news about the Erwin location,” says Thom Crosby, the fast food chain’s president and chief operating officer. “Unicoi County residents have been supporters of Pal’s for years with our other locations and we’re pleased to soon offer our fast and friendly service and world famous menu in their area.”

The new restaurant will create new jobs for the area as Pal’s restaurant employs more than 50 people at each location, and will also bring additional sales tax revenue to Unicoi County. Founded in 1956 by Pal Barger, the Kingsport, Tenn.-based company operates restaurant locations from Morristown, Tenn. in the West to Abingdon, VA in the East.

Known for its refreshing 32 oz. Big Tea, Big Pal hamburger, hot dogs and Frenchie Fries, Pal’s menu offers items for breakfast, lunch, dinner and extraordinary milkshakes for snacking.

Pal’s Sudden Service was the first restaurant chain to earn the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, a U.S. Department of Commerce award for business excellence. It is also a two-time winner of Tennessee’s Quality Excellence Award.
