Pals Sudden Service to add new restaurant in Erwin!
(Kingsport, Tenn.) After years of fans requesting a Pals Sudden Service to be located in Erwin, Tennessee, their wish has been granted. The newest location of Pals Sudden Service will be located at the corner of Jonesborough Road and North Industry Drive in Erwin. Groundbreaking on the property is set for August 1st.
The 26th restaurant of the storied regional chain is part of Pals continued plan for expansion in the state. We are very excited to be able to announce the news about the Erwin location, says Thom Crosby, the fast food chains president and chief operating officer. Unicoi County residents have been supporters of Pals for years with our other locations and were pleased to soon offer our fast and friendly service and world famous menu in their area.
The new restaurant will create new jobs for the area as Pals restaurant employs more than 50 people at each location, and will also bring additional sales tax revenue to Unicoi County. Founded in 1956 by Pal Barger, the Kingsport, Tenn.-based company operates restaurant locations from Morristown, Tenn. in the West to Abingdon, VA in the East.
Known for its refreshing 32 oz. Big Tea, Big Pal hamburger, hot dogs and Frenchie Fries, Pals menu offers items for breakfast, lunch, dinner and extraordinary milkshakes for snacking.
Pals Sudden Service was the first restaurant chain to earn the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, a U.S. Department of Commerce award for business excellence. It is also a two-time winner of Tennessees Quality Excellence Award.
