Ninth in Kiwanis Club’s Heritage Ornament Series now available

The ninth ornament in the Heritage Ornament Series presented by the Erwin Kiwanis Club is now available.
Keeping with the series’ tradition, the ninth ornament features a Blue Ridge Pottery pattern. The 2012 edition of the ornament features the “Square Dance” pattern. Previous ornaments have featured the “Becky,” “Weathervane,” “French Peasant” and other patterns.
Although the pattern changes each year, the framing of the ornament, which features the words, “Blue Ridge China Southern Potteries Erwin, Tn.,” remains the same for each edition.
The ornaments are sold by the Kiwanis Club as a fundraiser for the club’s charitable activities in the community.
A limited number of ornaments are ordered each year. The ornaments are sold for $12 at The Erwin Record, the Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce and the Clinchfield Federal Credit Union.
For more information about the ornaments, or to place an order, call Kiwanis Club member Sandy Lingerfelt at 743-9192, 743-6741 or 571-0017.
