Merchants give approval of downtown makeover
The Main Street project is finished and the heart of Erwin is pumping with enthusiasm as business owners and patrons alike are excited to see the finished product.
It looks great, said Ben McNabb, owner of Keesecker Appliance, Furniture and Flooring. We lost a
little bit of money during the construction, but considering the circumstances, it wasnt bad. Keeseckers is just one of the many businesses benefitting from the Main Street makeover. New brick
crosswalks add a beautiful contrast to the fresh, black asphalt. Benches along the sidewalk add a modest touch of Southern hospitality.
