Membership drive underway

“I sincerely believe that a membership in the Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce can and does greatly benefit local business, industry, individuals, as well as our community,” Chamber Executive Director Amanda Delp told The Erwin Record last week.
This is the message the Chamber hopes to share during its 2014 “Membership Matters” Membership Drive. According to Delp, the drive is a two week initiative where Chamber staff, Board of Director members and volunteers from the existing membership base invite others to join the Chamber.
Benefits of Chamber membership include networking with fellow Chamber members and community leaders, marketing and advertising, as well as business referrals and email marketing, Delp said.
“We are looking for volunteers to help to make this drive a success,” Delp also said. “Past experience has shown that prospective members respond positively to volunteers.”
