Legion to meet Sept. 29
Due to the upcoming Apple Festival, Erwins Unaka Post 25 of the American Legion will hold its October meeting on Thursday, Sept. 29, at 6:30 p.m. at Erwin Town Hall.
Final plans for the booth at Apple Festival will be made, including when to set up the tent. Legion members will also need to sign up to work in the booth. Plans are being made for Turkey Shoots to begin Saturday, Oct. 15, at Hargus Whites Saw Mill.
The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 25 will also meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29. at Erwin Town Hall.
