Kiwanis Campfire to host Chad Bogart

The Kiwanis Club of Erwin, with support from the Cherokee National Forest Service, continues the 2010 Campfire Program with a performance by Chad Bogart this Friday, June 18, at 8:00 p.m., at Rock Creek Recreation Area.
Bogart’s popular program, “Ole Time Instruments, Songs and Stories,” is a favorite with Campfire Program attendees over the years. Chad has a wide range of instruments—new, old and even homemade—and he plays and explains them all.
The program is free for the whole family, and followed by a free marshmallow roast for attendees.
From Imterstate 26, take Exit 36, go east to the dead end and turn right on North Main Avenue. Turn left on Rock Creek Road and continue to Rock Creek Recreation Area. Direction signs will be posted in and near the recreation area. In case of rain, the program will be moved to Rock Creek Presbyterian Church.
