Grand jury hands down indictments
The Unicoi County grand jury met on Thursday, Feb. 16, and handed down indictments against several individuals.
True bills were returned against: Randall I. Shelton on charges of aggravated burglary and theft over $500; George Wayne Spoehr on two charges of violation of sexual offender registration and monitoring act; Nathan Paul White and Casey Allen Street on charges of aggravated burglary, vandalism under $500 and evading arrest. Street was also indicted on the charges of possession of burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia in this case; Charles J. Court on the charge of initiation of methamphetamine manufacture process; Richie Barnett on the charge of possession of stolen property over $500; Odessa M. Jackson on the charges of theft over $1,000 and criminal impersonation; Matthew Mohlar on three counts of theft over $1,000, three counts of aggravated burglary, one count of attempted aggravated burglary and one count of vandalism under $500; Richard Cody Powers and Lisa Parker on two counts of attempted aggravated burglary and one count of theft over $1,000. Powers was also indicted on charges of burglary and theft over $500.
