Genealogy workshop set for Sept. 11
The Watauga Association of Genealogists and the Johnson City Public Library will host a workshop for those interested in learning further skills for researching their family history.
The workshop will be Saturday, Sept. 11, from 12:30-4:30 p.m. at the Johnson City Public Library
There will be three workshop classes: how to document your sources; how to find useful free internet genealogy sites; a refreshment break; and how to use Ancestry.com. There is no charge to attend the workshop, but the association would appreciate pre-registration to aid in planning for the number of handouts.
