County residents earn ETSU degrees

More than 20 Unicoi County residents were among the 1,300 students receiving degrees at East Tennessee State University’s fall commencement ceremonies on Dec. 18.
Both August and December graduates are included in the fall exercises.
In addition to awarding bachelor’s, master’s, educational specialist (EdS) degrees and graduate certificates, ETSU bestowed doctor of education (EdD), doctor of philosophy (PhD), doctor of medicine (MD), and doctor of physical therapy (DPT) degrees on successful candidates.
