Civic Chorale plans Oct. 13 program to highlight organ at First Presbyterian

Founded in 1973, The Civic Chorale is celebrating its 40th anniversary throughout the 2013-2014 season. At 3 p.m. on Oct. 13, in First Presbyterian Church in Johnson City, the Chorale will present Cathedral Sounds, a program of masterworks for organ and choir. The music features the recently installed Berghaus organ in the church’s sanctuary and organist, Dr. David Runner.
The church is located at 105 South Boone St. While there is no admission charge for the concert;
donations are gratefully accepted at the door, with a $10 suggested donation.
