Chamber announces Apple Dumpling Contest

The Unicoi County Chamber
of Commerce will once
again sponsor the Apple
Dumpling Contest during
this year’s Unicoi County
Apple Festival as a fundraiser
for the Chamber’s education
programs.
The contest is open to all
Unicoi County children,
both male and female, ages
five years old and under.
Contest winners will be
based on the child that collects
the most money, as the
contest is a fundraising event.
Trophies will be awarded
and a savings bond will be
given to the grand prize winner.
Contest winners will be
announced during the Apple
Festival on Friday, Oct. 4, at
the Gathering Place Stage located
on Main Avenue.
