Erwin Record announces temporary office closure
From Staff Reports
In an effort to protect its community and employees, The Erwin Record’s office will be closed to walk-in customers until further notice. The newspaper is taking this action in order to prevent the transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19).
Even though the office is closed, The Erwin Record will still be publishing a newspaper every Wednesday. Staff will also be available to serve our readers, customers and community during this time. Assistance will be just a call or an email away.
Questions about subscriptions, circulation issues, classified ads, yard sales, etc. should be directed to Kathy Carmichael by calling 743-4112 or emailing [email protected]. Payments can be made over the phone.
Anyone wishing to submit a news item, including closures or cancellations due to COVID-19, can do so by emailing it to [email protected]. News items, news tips and story ideas may also be provided over the phone by calling 743-4112 and speaking to Keeli Parkey or Richard Rourk.
Advertisements will also be accepted via phone and email. Questions regarding advertising should be directed to Jana Wells at [email protected] or 743-4112.
The Erwin Record will reevaluate the decision to close the office in the coming weeks.
