Erwin plans Memorial Day service

The town of Erwin is sponsoring a Memorial Day service at the Unicoi County Veterans Memorial Park on Sunday, May 29, at 2 p.m.

Rev. Rusty Wishon, pastor of Fishery Community Church, will be the guest speaker.

Also during the service, American Legion Post 25 will conduct a POW/MIA ceremony and the Daughters of the American Revolution will be placing a wreath at the memorial.
