Twelve students from Unicoi County are among a record 314 students are scheduled to graduate from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) Elizabethton, at 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 11, in ceremonies held in Seeger Chapel at Milligan College.
According to information from TCAT, they are: Charles Dalton Sanders, Computer Information Technology; Matthew Huskins, Diesel Powered Equipment; Laurel Banner, Electricity-Electronics; Samuel Cutshall, Pipefitting and Plumbing; Megan Byrd, Megan Honeycutt-Hawn and Ashley Williams, Practical Nursing; Joseph Bennett, Matthew Johnson, Christian Metcalf, Christian Miller and Jesus Perez, Welding.
New student registration for the 2016 Fall Trimester will be held Sept. 6 for students previously admitted to TCAT Elizabethton.
The TCAT application for admission is available in the Administration Building at the Main Campus, 426 Highway 91 North, across from the Elizabethton Municipal Airport, or online at www.tcatelizabethton.edu.
Financial assistance is also available. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), via the internet at www.fafsa.ed.gov, to determine financial need. The TCAT Elizabethton code, #005281, must be included on the FAFSA form.
