The Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce has been busy hosting a series of events geared to getting people back out following a year of uncertainty.
The next event in the lineup is the annual Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce Membership Luncheon on Thursday, May 20.
“This is our first membership luncheon in more than a year and a half,” said Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Amanda Delp. “I believe our last one was in November of 2019.”
Delp added that the lunches are a great opportunity to meet and make connections with regional business partners.
The luncheon follows a series of other events held by the Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce.
“We have had a very successful month and are seeing more people get together and get over the awkwardness caused by a year of quarantine,” Delp said.
According to Delp, this year’s luncheon will have a special sponsor. “Bank of Tennessee will be the sponsor for the event,” Delp said. “They will have a special presentation. We are also going to honor two special guests, so it will be a great surprise for them. These are two business partners that have been with the chamber for many years.”
Delp encourages any interested businesses to come out to the luncheon.
“We want all of our members to come out to this event,” Delp said. “We also hope any businesses that may be interested in the chamber or to see what we are about to call and attend the event.”
The Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce will hold its quarterly Chamber Membership Luncheon on Thursday, May 20, at noon at Erwin Town Hall. The Bank of Tennessee will sponsor the event. Rod Stent will make a presentation on “Money Matters” during the luncheon.
The luncheon is free to all Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce members. Reservations are required, so call the Chamber at (423) 743-3000 to register or email [email protected]
