Members of the Unicoi County High School softball team received hardware for their efforts in the 2018 season.

According to head coach Grady Lingerfelt, Lady Devil seniors Riley Stiltner, Halie Padgett and Sydney Miller, and juniors Chloe Powers and Allie Griffith, were chosen for the Three Rivers All-Conference team.

Receiving all-conference honorable mention honors were seniors Greta Raby and Grace Ann Clark.

Making the District 1-AA all-tournament team were Padgett, Stiltner, senior Tanya Chavez and junior Halie Hawkins.

The Lady Devils also played in the Tiny Day Tournament in Greeneville during April and won the silver bracket portion of the competition. Sophomore Ashtan Vance received MVP honors, while Padgett, Chavez, Stiltner and Clark were named to the all-tournament team.

Lingerfelt’s team finished the 2018 season with a 38-10 record. They took second play in the conference regular season and district tournament before winning the Region 1-AA tournament. The season came to an end for the Lady Devils with a loss to Kingston in the substate round.

“The whole team was a great team to coach,” Lingerfelt previously said.
