Ms. Jennie Sharon Deaton, age 67, a resident of Kingston, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at The Waters of Clinton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clinton, Tennessee. She was born March 29, 1950 in Harriman, Tennessee. Sharon graduated from Oliver Springs High School and attended Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee. Sharon was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving as a linguist, and was stationed in Germany. She was a longtime member of the Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Harriman. She was preceded in death by her parents, James P. and Martha Ledford Deaton; and grandparents, Harvey & Pansy Deaton and Amos & Helen Ledford, all formerly of Erwin, Tennessee.

Family and Friends will meet on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Roane Memorial Gardens; 1400 N. Gateway Avenue; Rockwood, TN 37854 for graveside services and interment with Rev. Larry S. Tilley officiating. Full military honors will be given by the Roane County Military Honor Guard and the U.S. Army.
