Bethany Ann Willis – Gregory Sean Morris

Bethany Ann Willis and Gregory Sean Morris were united in marriage Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Paul Seay officiated the 5 p.m., double-ring ceremony. The church was decorated with ferns, topiaries and hibiscus plants, as well as pew decorations of pink and white tulips in pink tins, accented with tulle and pink ribbons. The double doors were decorated with wreaths of spring flowers.

Music was provided by Julie Caldwell, organist.

The bride is the daughter of Roger Dale and Joyce Willis, Erwin. She is the granddaughter of Merley and Mary Evelyn Willis, Trula Ramsey and the late Tate Ramsey.

The groom is the son of Greg Morris, St. Augustine, Fla., and Ricky and Sherry Watford, Gainesville, Ga. He is the grandson of Jamie and Judy Morris, Pine Mountain, Ga., Bubba and Joyce Harp, Columbus, Ga., Ray and Judy Watford, Manchester, Ga., Elizabeth Greer, Phenix City, Ala., Ann Thompson, Columbus, Ga.; and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Harston, Houston, Texas.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a satin, strapless, A-line gown with pearl pink accented cuff, hem and lace-up back. Her elbow-length, two-tier veil with pink pearl trim was attached to a tiara of garden flowers with crystal and pearl accents. She carried a cascading arrangement of pink and white irises, tulips and stargazer lilies.

Natalie Kerns was the matron of honor. She wore a strapless, satin ball gown with ruched bodice and sweetheart neckline, in pearl pink. She carried a handheld bouquet of irises.

Bridesmaids were Christina Morgan and Michelle Ricker. They wore pearl pink, satin, empire ball gowns with chiffon halter and ruched sash. Christine carried a bouquet of stargazer lilies, and Michelle carried a bouquet of tulips.

Greg Morris and Ricky Watford were best men, and Travis Baldridge was groomsman.

Ushers were Drew Hayworth and Dustin Whitaker.

The ringbearer was Tate Willis.

Following a reception at The Charles, the couple took a wedding trip to Cozumel, Mexico; Grand Cayman Islands; and Ocho Rios, Jamaica. They are residing in Johnson City.
